O.P.T 4 Green Youth Conservation board

Welcome to the organization committed to making changes for the  future today! During the 07-08 school year the Latta DECA Green Marketing team partnered with Holcim (US) Ada plant to market changes for a greener future. We joined Holcim with the goal to decrease the world's carbon foot-print. We marketed the motto, "If Holcim can improve their green, so can you!"

The team of Lashun Oakley, Brooke Powell, Desiree Lyon, and KaCee Thompson carried the message to Atlanta, Georgia at the International DECA competition, and now we are asking you to join us. The main core of the plan is to establish a youth conservation board to partner with Holcim, and other companies to carry the message across the world that we must do everything in our power to reduce our carbon footprint, and improve our world.

In 2008-09 I have spent time promoting OPT 4 Green in the 4-H program.  The 4-H Club has become a great connection for OPT 4 Green projects.  4-H members have carried the message of green marketing throughout our state.  All youth organizations can benefit from their OPT 4 Green clubs.  Join and TAKE ACTION TODAY!

2010 will be up to you.  Apply for project money by e-mailing the website at opt4green@rocketmail.com and we will fund your project ideas.  Donate to the Holcim(US) Relay for life team.  Lets get conservation projects started internationally.  Send us ideas today.  Opt4Green is working for back to school basics.  Get your ideas funded today.
